Diocese of London advice on coronavirus – updated

The Diocese of London has published a Guidance note in the event of Pandemic Virus from the  Archdeacon of London, principally about the risks of infection arising from the administration of Holy Communion. This Guidance Note was edited at 15.00, on 12/02/20, to highlight that the World Health Organization (WHO) had officially named the disease caused by the novel coronavirus as COVID-19.

Just about zero to do with law, but we thought that, in the circumstances, it was worth disseminating nevertheless.

Updates

[Since this guidance was issued, there have been a number of updates within the Church of England and elsewhere, and these are now listed in a separate post, which itself is frequently updated. ]
